The Shanghai Airport ity (SAA) inked an air cargo services deal with the China International Import Expo (CIIE) Bureau and the National Exhibition and Convention Center (NECC) Shanghai on Sept 15.

The agreement, signed 50 days before the opening of the sixth CIIE on Nov 5, will see the involved parties cooperate and share information to improve air cargo services.

Drawing on the experience of the previous five editions, the three parties will work together to meet the air transportation needs of the exhibitors and create an efficient logistics channel for the expo.

At the signing ceremony, the SAA and the NECC Shanghai customs also briefed the attendees on the airport guarantee measures, customs clearance instructions, and customs clearance facilitation measures for the exhibits of the sixth CIIE.

In addition, the SAA will further optimize its work processes, improve logistics efficiency, and enhance service levels.
